http://www.quiltineering.com/sparkler-quilt-wip
August 10, 2015. I’m continuing to work at putting a dent in my WIP pile, and this weekend I pulled out my Sparkler Quilt. I pieced this project 4 houses ago. I tend to remember my life’s details by which state/country I lived in, and this one was pieced in the summer heat of Mississippi in 2013. I’ve always loved this quilt. The pattern is by Lee Heinrich of Freshly Pieced. Hopefully I’ll have a finish to show you by the end of the week! What a fabulous quilt! What a lovely gradation! That is an awesome...

WIPs – The List. Feathers, and pebbles, and triangles, oh my! July 29, 2015. A few days ago, I had this quilt basted. And ready to go. Since then, I’ve scoured the internet, and your comments, for new free motion quilting designs to try out. It was a real hardship to look at beautiful quilts, over and over. Of course there was going to be a feather. Just under half of the quilt is done at this point… hopefully I can come up with enough ideas! And bought another yard of it. True love right there. I love w...

WIPs – The List. 8211; Woodsy Baby Blanket. April 18, 2014. And I have a finish I’ve been sitting on for awhile (not literally though). It’s a baby blanket, and I wanted to gift it before I shared, just in case she found her way to this little space of the internet. Lots of ooooh’s and awwwww’s. WIP – t...
