Unforgettable Memories: February 2014
http://unforgettablescrapbook.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 28, 2014. Did anyone try Prima's February sketch? I did My layout is below. I've used some older Prima papers and rub-ons as well as Prima blooms, leaves and stamps. I used a rose from Prima's mini motifs screens on each side of my photo matte with blue spray mist. It is subtle, but I like how it turned out. I used my chevron stencil to create some texture and then drizzled some turquoise glimmer mist over it. A cluster of embellishments with a Prima felt 'b' for my Breanna. Is 'grape'&#...

Unforgettable Memories: The games we play
http://unforgettablescrapbook.blogspot.com/2014/03/the-games-we-play.html
Sunday, March 9, 2014. The games we play. The patterned paper I used for the background is a Carta Bella design. I used a panel mask on this page. After rubbing texture paste across the mask I sprayed those three panels with gold Maya mist. You can see more detail in the close-ups below. The stickers (chipboard and paper) are Echo Park. The poinsettia and leaves are Prima. A close-up of the texture panel sprayed with gold mist. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow Us on Facebook. The games we play.

April 26, 2010. Mother's Day Mini Album. Hello Quickutz friends, it’s Shaunte Wadley again. Mother’s Day is quickly approaching, and I thought I would share an inexpensive project with you. This project would be perfect as a gift for the special women in your life, or as a gift for yourself on Mother’s Day. I started with a mirrored compact that I found at the dollar store. Next I gathered my supplies:. Cut a strip of your cardstock measuring 2.25" X 12". Cut the strip in half, in the middle. Next, you w...

May 3, 2010. This is Julie from the QuicKutz Design Team and today I’m sharing a sneak-peak of the present I’m giving to my Mom for Mother’s Day. Like many of you, my Mom holds a very dear spot in my heart. I think I realized just how dear she is to me when I became a mother myself 17 years ago. My Mom is a four-time cancer survivor—yes, you read that right! During it all, she was and continues to be the best Mom to my two sisters and myself. This is for you, Mom! I also ran the cardstock pages through t...

Unforgettable Memories: Fun with paint
http://unforgettablescrapbook.blogspot.com/2014/03/fun-with-paint.html
Wednesday, March 19, 2014. I started out with plain cardstock. Layered striped paper on the top half and glued down strips of the black/grey BoBunny patterned paper. I splashed some shimmery turquoise Making Memories paint across the page and spread it with an old credit card. I use vellum a lot on my pages. For this layout I punched leaves out of a strip of white vellum. Some of those leaves I tucked back in. And a Prima bloom. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow Us on Facebook. QuicKutz Company Blog: Shapes as Embellishments
http://quickutzinc.blogspot.com/2010/07/shapes-as-embellishments.html
July 1, 2010. It's Leah Killian from the QuicKutz Design Team, here to show off the newest release! Aren't the new shapes just to die for? I was so inspired when these dies landed on my doorstep. I scrambled to meet a tight deadline on design projects and send off as many good ideas as I could, but even after that day had come and gone, I still had the itch to play with them! Thankfully, I had a nice long crop last weekend, and got to pull out my dies and leisurely create! In the spirit of that thought, ...
